The Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) is a coeducational state university in the Philippines. It was established in 1901 by the Philippine Commission. TUP has its main campus in Manila and satellite campuses in Taguig, Cavite, Visayas, Batangas, and Quezon. The 1901 Act No. 74 of the United States Philippines Commission established the Manila Trade School (MTS) near Ateneo de Manila in Intramuros. In 1910, the Manila Trade School was renamed as the Philippine School of Arts and Trades (PSAT), and again in 1959 as the Philippine College of Arts and Trade (PCAT). From 1959 to 1978, PCAT pioneered programs in engineering technology and industrial teacher education. On July 11, 1978, by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1518, the Philippine College of Arts and Trades was converted into the Technological University of the Philippines

Second is the legendary Gear Of Success

The gear of success

The gear symbolizes the course of engineering and technology. It is unique and very historical. It witnessed how tough and challenging the trials of many successful engineering had been experience.
In my journey I named this place as “The gear of success” I considered this place as a first finish line of my beginning journey.

This is where difficult quizzes and exams held. Being one of the students in TUPV was my dream way back in my highschool days. Aside from free tuition, the quality of teaching was caught my attention. This dream was very difficult to reach and I thought it wouln’t be happen. But now I am here, A TUPVian aiming to be the one of the sides of The gear of success. I proved to myself that this is the best school that will shape me to be a gear, “The gear of success”.

Okay…phew! I know you are tired of reading. Take a break! Enjoy Denise Snackbar!

I interviewed one the teacher and former student of the TUPV Sir Benjamin B.Esmania before it called Technical University of the Philippines Visayas it was VTI (Visayan Technician Institute). Found this old photo in the internet I was amaze that the building, the land mark and the tree are standing until now.

An old picture of our school formerly Visayas Technician Institute now known as Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas! 📖☀

I just found this photo from my files dated 2013, I just downloaded it somewhere so Im really not sure about what year the original photo was taken.

Also take a look the landmark of TUPV

Sitting there and talking to your friends while waiting for the class to start. Taking photos for the whole class . That landmark symbolizes all TUPVIANS. TUPVIANS is a strong as its foundation and its simple yet beautiful.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
